How AI features are billed in DuckViz.
DuckViz bills AI features in credits. Non-AI actions — file uploads, manual SQL queries, exports — are free.
How credits are deducted
Credits are deducted only after an AI action completes successfully. If a request fails, times out, or is rate-limited, no credits are taken. The per-action cost is shown in the UI before you run the action.
Free credits and credit packs
- New accounts receive free credits automatically.
- Additional credits are available as one-time credit packs — no subscription, no auto-renew.
- Credits never expire.

Credit restoration
If a platform-side bug deducts credits without delivering results, we restore them directly to your balance. Contact support with the approximate time and the action you ran.
